Lunch invitation By Col. Neeraj Gosain and Lt.Gen.Gosain at The College of Military Engineering at Pune was a day so remembered. Our errand to CME spacing to a broader image to life. We came across stout, intrepid defence individuals. Gates of iron opening a new door for freedom. Roads that lead to security from the dreaded world of violence.
The abode of the post British period is so cryptic with spaces to wonder and rest. The layout provides movement to interior and exterior human world. The sentient and the verve was so high that we had forgotten ourselves. Getting pampered and sozzled by the policemen of defence is a lavish and chivalrous experience. As the greens and the stone houses shelter the innocent from the wireless source of connectivity. After the 26/11 attack on our nation there has been ideological change towards our national forces by which we mean the Indian army.
Huddling into our individual cars we all headed towards the manmade lake situated right in the heart of CME. As a kingfisher airline cuts across the blue clear sky the migrating birds perched on the manmade lake gazing at the manmade bird. The epiphany of migrating birds never seen before made us wonder where do they come from? Looking at Col. Neeraj Gosain hoping for answers, Col looked at us and took us for a guided speed boat tour for us to understand and see birds without explanation.
We came across painted stork a long necked van Gogh yellow beak. The coot water bird so sweet and comfortable. These birds are in there own trip of realisation. Duck like structure and ivory white bill and flat rounded horns. Little egret tall lanky white bird very graceful and stylish. Grey hepon the long neck marsh bird with a foxy and fishy look. Open bill stork a small stork purple and greenish and fly in groups. Similarly we came across spoon bill and purple moorhen. The sagacity of the errand was extremely vast which manifest evanesces. Kind off endeavour taken for this project is huge.
After seeing such magnificent images of migrating birds we all headed for a tasty Army khana cooked with all the vim of nature. We all wished that tomorrow never comes and time to stop. But all good things do come to an end.
Thank You Sir!
