Organizing a Punjabi Jazz Dhabba party requires a lot of endeavor. A Punjabi Dhabba décor requires to be rusty, truckee, rough and natural sentient. Sarika the event organizer did a wonderful job, her verve so high on the job.
Getting the Indian chatai painted with oil colors in red, orange and green depicting what we are today. Hanging it suspended in the air all knotted to bind us in the dreaded world. Underneath the chatai hang colors of light like a runway to the future of hope.
An Indian katiya with a hukka to smoke on completely enclosed with wonderful gazing lights to dream on. The greens all over to protect us from the outside world and to get the naturals in. Candle lit as Indian jazz fusion band jammed on. The band Conner looked so rusty with caramel as musicians played there hearts out.
Makki ki roti and sarson ka sag one of the main courses so elegantly displayed with red and white cloth bands to royalty. Sarika’s efforts very highly appreciated by eminent guest of honor, as they all enjoyed the Punjabi Jazz Dhabba party to the fullest.
Sarika seated with a glass of beer looked at me and said “Atithi Devo Bhava”
Thank you Sarika & Tushar!
