Take A Curve

As we entered the narrow lanes of ABC farms in Koregaon Park we felt uneasy and our thoughts moving fast with excitement. Fusion Gig at curve a very cool and clam place. Hearing santoor as we entered curve. Curve quite like soul and sure for a takeoff in time. Very wooden and candles placed all over. The wooden brown with flames of love all over. A very mellow and lightly dim place. The fusion of western and classical ambience all over. As nilesh and kunal played some santoori blues. Many Indian, Americans, Iranians filled curve, a very inter-national movement. Pedro on drums played a solo with a triplet feel and nilesh ripped it with him on tabla. The trio sounded amazing. The drum sounding a pitch lower then the tabla was so bitty. November classic flowed like mad. Rebecca an American at the show was so amazed that she could not hold on to the chair. Visitors pulling out there cameras and clicking like never before. Even closed black door of bars opened. I freak out on nilesh and Pedro jugalbandi so interesting so challenging. Off course some parts got boring but it’s understood. With two bottles of beer down I could listen to folded hands even better. Even a small child of age five grooved on. The show ended with a composition called sunset much to the situation. As they all fused the night turned darker for all of us to say goodbye..
