Starting of way back in 1998 having lost everything and nothing to lose anymore my close friend sarika now my dear wife calls up and says “hey lets make websites”. I knew nothing about all this. Sarika had been working on it for quite sometime on web designing. So we decided to meet up at Pune University with ten bucks in hand and some groundnuts to eat on. Like a lost artist holding on to Kandinsky’s book on small pleasures walked along with sarika. Not knowing where we are what to do we sat and dreamt of a wonderful life ahead of us. So we expressed our feelings to each other and the idea of expressions came together. So we decided to visit few known builders of pune and request them to help us start of expressions by designing there websites.My father came forward and offered us to buy us a computer wow that was great gesture...We started designing few websites on frontpage 98. With all trial and error method we managed to make websites. Our initial work place rocked. We occupied a small part of a marriage bureau for about two years. Learning to work as a team with just one computer is amazing. A very close friend of us sandeep joined in with his expert ideas. He guided us in all fronts of business management. In short period time we started of with http://www.punerealestate.com/ and http://www.hindumarriage.com/ both are popular websites as of today. Sandeep on the backend and sarika lead us from the front and all went very well... sarika still leads expressions from the front and she is very successful. With zero bank loans we could still reinvest in our company and for ourselves.
One day we decided we need real objects that fly so we purchased a few birds. If I am not mistaken our first bird was tuti so cute so wonderful... then the number of birds grew to 200. sarika and sandeep made a cage with there own hands ..
We had a cat called greyu so giving I cant imagine. We even ploughed our backyards and grew vegetables. All this is so rooted with expressions. We even made an easel for painting pictures we dreamt and thought of Van Gogh, Dali and many more. Our clients have grown and multiplied in time. We have seen the dotcom boom to the burst and now recession. We have gone thru the cycle of pleasure and pain. We had our own share of ups and downs. I even had a cycle with all my website names mentioned on it. I would like to thank so many people and clients who helped up grow. Presently we are working with so many clients who never question us. With Expressions we could express ourselves to music, be a part of the animal kingdom, nature, technology, people, art, dance, its endless... the journey from frontpage 98 to dreamweaver cs4 has been absorbing.
I would like to thank mostly expressions for all he has given us.
